VERTICAL MONTE LUSSARI 3,6 KM / 974 +
Registration fees (Online only):
- within 31.12.24 – 27,00 €;
- within 31.01.25 – 32,00 €;
- later – 38,00 €.
The registration fee includes race bib, assistance and refreshments at the finish line, participation in the pasta party, race package with technical gadget, finisher medal and the cable car ticket to return to the valley after the race.
Friday, 14.03.25, Start: 18:30h
Race Map:
Start in line at 6.30 pm near the cable car which leads to the top of Monte Lussari at approx. 3 km from the center of Tarvisio (https://maps.app.goo.gl/k4RHprjRFtaTHtd7A).
The length is 3.6 km with 974 m D+ and athletes will have to wear a headlamp. The track has a minimum gradient of 7%, a maximum of 47%, with an average gradient of 26.5%. The arrival is at the summit cross of Mount Lussari, passing through the last 300 m of the race inside the Village. After the race the athletes will return to the start with the cable car.
MONTE MANGART WINTER TRAIL 15 KM / 515 +
Registration fees (Online only):
- within 31.12.24 – 42,00 €;
- within 31.01.25 – 48,00 €;
- later – 55,00 €.
The registration fee includes race bib, assistance and refreshments at the finish line, participation in the pasta party, race package with technical gadget, finisher medal.
Saturday, 15.03.25, Start: 14:00h
Race Map:
The Monte Mangart Winter Trail will take place on a very spectacular route starting from Lago Superiore di Fusine and will climb up to the 1380 m of Rifugio Zacchi and then descend to the finish line in the area in front of Lago Superiore. The Alpe del Lago Winter Trail runs up to km 8 on the same route as the queen race and then takes the link road that takes the participants to the finish line along the road that leads to the Zacchi refuge. The Young race will unfold on an easy track of about 1.5 km and 3.0 km entirely in the Malga del Lago.
COMBINED REGISTRATION:
Monte Lussari Vertical + Monte Mangart Winter Trail (Online registration only):
- within 31.12.24 – 62,00 €;
- within 31.01.25 – 72,00 €;

Both races are OPEN, therefore with registration open to everybody. Nevertheless, the assignment of the European Champion ISF SkySnow 2025 titles is reserved exclusively to athletes invited by their respective national team.
For both races the OVERALL ranking (M/F), the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP ranking (M/F) will be drawn up, as well as a ranking for the following CATEGORIES (M/F):
• MASTER A: born between 1976 and 1985;
• MASTER B: born between 1966 and 1975;
• MASTER C: born before 1966.
At the end of the Monte Mangart Winter Trail the combined ranking of the two races will also be drawn up. The SkySnow World Championship regulations can be consulted on the International Skyrunning Federation website (https://www.skyrunning.com/).
The amounts shown above will be paid out net of applicable taxes.
WINTER TRAIL ALPE DEL LAGO 10 KM / 180+
Non-competitive race open to all (medical certificate is not necessary)
Registration fees:
- within 31.12.24 – 25,00 €;
- within 31.01.25 – 28,00 €;
- within 12.03.25 – 32,00 €;
- up to one hour before the start – 35,00 €.

Non-competitive races reserved for youth categories
Registration fees: 12.00 EUR for registrations completed online within 12.03.24 and 15.00 EUR for registrations made up to one hour before the start of the race, finisher medal. The registration fee includes race bib, assistance and refreshments along the route, after race pasta party, race package.

LOCATION
ARRIVAL AND ACCOMODATION
We recommend to book a flight to Venice or Ljubljana (Slovenia). As second choice Airport Friuli Venezia Giulia (Trieste-Monfalcone) or the rather small Klagenfurt Airport in Austria.
You can then travel to Tarvisio by public transport (bus or train). Or you can rent a car to stay mobile during your stay.

Follow the A23 motorway towards Tarvisio.
Coming from Udine, exit Camporosso / coming from Villach (Austria), exit Tarvisio.
Change to the SS13 and follow the road to Camporosso. There are parking spaces directly at the Monte Lussari cable car. The start of the Vertical Monte Lussari race is also located there.

Follow the A23 motorway towards Tarvisio.
Coming from Udine, exit Camporosso / coming from Villach (Austria), exit Tarvisio Nord.
Drive SS54 following the road to Fusine Valromana. Turn right on VIA LAGHI and follow the street until you reach the Upper Lake. There are parking spaces directly at the Lake. The start of the Monte Mangart Winter Trail and the other races is also located there.
